The obverse depicted writer Erazum in moment when he write the book and portrait of queen Beatris. Between them pass the inscription “Beatrix Koningin der Nederlanden” and the year of issue – 2011. In the outer circle were painted 12 stars.

The reverse side depicted the nominal value of the coin from 2 euro.
